Integrated therapy in an early childhood classroom provides all students with meaningful learning experiences and supports MTSS within the school. Inclusion and utilizing our related service staff to maximize learning for all students is essential. Learn ways early childhood teachers can coteach with related service staff to obtain realistic, easy to implement ideas and strategies that meet all learners’ needs and abilities.

Learner objectives

1. Implement developmentally appropriate social-emotional practices for inclusive settings.

2. Reflect on ways to create a more effective classroom to support the differing needs of both children and staff.

3. Discuss with colleagues and share ideas to implement effective and appropriate teaching strategies.
