Fellowships and grants are available for family education and professional development. Reimbursements can be used to cover the costs of attending an event, including registration, travel, and child care.

Parent/Professional Fellowships
STAR NET Region II offers financial aid through fellowships to professionals and families to attend early childhood educational workshops, seminars or conferences.
STAR NET offers Family Fellowships of up to $200 per fiscal year (July 1 through June 30) to parents/guardians. The funds are used to reimburse the expenses of attending workshops, seminars or conferences which will help families help their child. In-state events are given priority.
Preschool professionals working in public school programs can apply for Professional Development Assistance to help pay for attending workshops, seminars or conferences. You can be reimbursed up to $75 per year for expenses.
Small groups can now apply for a grant opportunity of up to $300. The funding can be used to learn about a particular subject related to children, ages 3-6, with special needs. Family members may participate but a school district professional must be a part of the group.
