We will discuss why Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is so important for preschoolers. In this introductory session we will investigate setting up the environment and building relationships as the foundations for all social emotional learning in the preschool classroom. An overview of key research based interventions for teaching social emotional skills to preschoolers will include: friendship, problem solving, conflict resolution, emotional literacy.b
