Transdisciplinary Play-based Assessment-2: Pulling Together the Pieces

TPBA2 is a comprehensive developmental assessment that incorporates sensorimotor, emotional and social, communication, and cognitive domains of development. Vision and hearing screening also are addressed. The transdisciplinary team process results in a holistic picture of the child and provides a direct link to program planning and intervention. Family members are important members of the assessment team and are included before, during, and after the assessment. Participants will practice using the Guidelines using videos of actual play assessments. The training will also introduce changes coming to TPBA3, including new virtual guidelines for documentation of observations
