This session builds on the standard classroom practice of reading aloud to provide differentiated opportunities for all students to engage with oral language around texts. Move beyond the standard answer-response structure during your read-alouds to build vocabulary, engage in dramatic play, and practice turn-taking with and about books to support the wide range of abilities of students in your inclusive classroom.
