This project of the Illinois State Board of education and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign offer many resources for parents and professionals. The Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards for Preschool and the Illinois’ Birth to Three Learning Guidelines are also available on the IELP website. IELP Tips Sheets are easy-to-read, one-page tip sheets of activities, and strategies to support the development of young children in all areas, available in several languages.

INCCRRA is a statewide organization which – in partnership with its 16 local Child Care Resources and Referral (CCR&R) agencies – is a recognized leader, catalyst and resource for making high quality, affordable early care and education and school-age care options available for children and families in Illinois. INCCRRA programs include: Illinois Cares for Kids, Gateways to Opportunity, ExceleRate Illinois, and Birth to Five Illinois.

NAEYC provides numerous articles, blogs and books and resources relating to curriculum, developmentally appropriate practice and high quality preschool programming. 

The Office of Head Start (OHS) helps young children from low-income families prepare to succeed in school through local programs. The website includes resources for early childhood professionals.

The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) produces these videos for professional development activities and obtains voluntary written permission from all parties who appear in these video clips. We wish to thank the families and early childhood education teams who have partnered with us to create the videos in the Results Matter Video Library.

Enriches the development of current and emerging leaders in the fields of early learning and children’s media. Carrying forward Fred Rogers’ important legacy, the Center is the official home of the Fred Rogers Archive as well as a straightforward, understanding, and compassionate voice for the healthy social and emotional development of children birth to age 8.

The goal for early learning is to improve the health, social-emotional, and cognitive outcomes for all children from birth through 3rd grade, so that all children, particularly those with high needs, are on track for graduating from high school college- and career-ready. The Early Learning Newsletter provides regular ED early learning updates.

Voices supports policies and programs that enhance the well-being of children, families, and communities in Illinois through policy research and analysis, policy advocacy, strategic communications, and community engagement. Voices produces several publications, including a newsletter, fact sheets, and blog.
